Alexandra is a sexual abuse survivor. Since her abuse she often feels the need to be as powerful as she can to face whatever other obstacles come her way. Like most, she is unable to escape her mental illness, but despite trouble sleeping caused by nightmares, Alexandra exhibits unparalleled strength, relying on an extremely supportive family system and higher pursuits within her education and career to keep her head level and her eyes forward.
